Hi, my name is Olivia and I am the creator of the online blog La Livi Lou. This is the page you can find out a bit more about me and my blog!

picture showing you what I look like, a little bit of about me

A little about me…

I’m 22 years old and a Politics and International Relations graduate and Newly Qualified Primary School Teacher. (You can check out my teaching related posts here)

I started this blog when I started university as a way to “waste my time productively”. What I didn’t realise is how much I would fall in love with blogging and the incredible blogging community!

I’m a huge fan of personal development and all things self growth, but that’s not all you’ll find on my blog! I love travelling so will be posting bits from holidays I loved and places you should see. Also being at the start of my teaching career, expect to see some teaching related pieces too!

Personal development has changed my life (blimey didn’t take long for a cliche to appear), I have struggled with anxiety for a long time and at my worst I was suffering daily panic attacks that were beginning to take over my life. Now, after taking on some serious personal development I’m recovering really well. I still have bumps in my road but I’m getting stronger each day. I like to live life to the full despite the barriers I sometimes face and I want to help others do the same.

I came back from a trip of a lifetime in Kenya in 2018 and in another incredibly cliche way, I found what I wanted from my life whilst travelling. I always knew I lived an incredibly privileged life, and after some of the things I was able to do I realised I wanted to devote my life to helping those that aren’t as fortunate as me. Being a human is so much more than just existing. It’s about having humanity and compassion.

I’m excited to share with you some of my thoughts on this little space in the internet I call LaLiviLou. I hope you enjoy reading them too.
